Also to provide basic information for people or groups who are interested in our services, or interested in becoming a member of our Local. For over 110 years Local 742 has answered to the call of our members, contractors, and our community.

For our members this website will provide a easier way to stay connected and informed with local Union events and Union events nationwide. Also it will provide a list of contacts and information useful to our members. For Contractors, our business is to supply the demand of skilled manpower. With over 300 members rigorously trained in Concrete Form work, Exterior Framing, Interior Systems, Scaffolding, and many other areas of Commercial Carpentry. We are here, ready to work!

For the general public, this website will give you a basic gateway to understand who we are and what our business is about. Also will provide the needed information for anyone interested in a career as a Union Carpenter. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters offers a 4 year Apprenticeship training program to qualified applicants. You will be trained in a vast array of skills needed to get the job done properly and in a timely fashion.
